What brings families together more than vacations, weddings, and graduations? Maybe a funeral, but not much else. Over the past month we were lucky enough to have experienced all but a funeral. For Spring Break we went on a week long cruise to the Western Caribbean with Justin's brother Lance and Brianna's sister Ashley. The scenery was beautiful, the sun was hot, and the all-you-can-eat food was tasty. Justin didn't achieve his goal of gaining 5 lbs, but still considered the trip a success. Highlights included snorkeling with sting rays in Grand Cayman, fresh smoothies, sandcastles, 100 degree weather, and almost missing the boat in Roatan, Honduras, Mayan ruins, mosquitoes, and shopping for trinkets in Cozumel, Mexico, and relaxing on the beach in The Bahamas. Here are a couple of pictures to prove we were there:

After the cruise, Brianna flew straight to Arizona for her sister Caitlin's wedding. Justin had to go back to school, but joined the fun a few days later. The newest edition to the family is Filipe Delvaux. Caitlin and Filipe make a fantastic couple. Filipe is a great guy, and we are excited to add a bit of Brazilian to the family. All of Brianna's family came into town for the wedding, and it was great to see everyone, especially our little neice and nephew.

After the wedding festivities, we flew home, caught our breath, then headed to Illinois the next weekend for Jason's graduation with his Masters degree in architecture from the University of Illinois. The best part was seeing our cute nieces and nephew. And seeing the rest of Justin's family, of course.

So much fun!!! It was great to see some pictures from the much anticipated cruise!!! I adore cruises and love all the fun places you get to see when you go! Scottie and I almost missed our ship at one of the ports and I about died. The wedding pics are amazing too, I love your dresses:)
Talk about doing it all! I guess, after working so hard throughout the rest of the year at school pays off when you get to have fun afterwards. Worthy goal of gaining some weight - how close did you get? Mmm...food...
Thanks for the update and the awesome pictures! Fun memories for the two of you and shared memories for some of those events.
OOOOH that sounds so fun. It reminds me of the DR days. Caribbean sunsets, smoothies at Casablanca, and the beach. oh, so fun. I had a reunion with Katrina. Looks like you guys are doing great! It's nice to catch up with you on the blog.

Busy fun time! That picture of Jason and the baby is cute as can be and I am jealous of the great weather you had for the cruise. When we went to the Bahamas it was a torrent and a windy time. What fun memories for you!
Your post just made me really jealous! Good to see you're having a fun time.
Wow! You guys are busy! But it looks like you are having a good time. Family time is always the best!
